Travel Time Paid between Penistone Works to/from Client Sites.
Clayton Project Engineering is a Mechanical & Electrical contractor working within the water utility sector undertaking contracts ranging from £10k to £750k. This role would be based from our Penistone works, undertaking installation & Maintenance on sites operated by Yorkshire Water. All Employees are based from our works in Penistone, South Yorkshire, and all candidates should consider their location & travel time which is outside their working day. Existing Employees are based in Barnsley, Rotherham, Sheffield, Huddersfield & Wakefield with a normal commute time of up to 45 minutes. This role would be reporting to the Operations Manager.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- The installation of Mechanical and Electrical equipment which has been supplied designed as per the client specifications.
- Installation of PVC pipework and ancillaries (single / dual contained / flexible pipes).
- On Site & Off Site manufacture & Installation of Chemical dosing System, including manufacture of dosing rigs in house.
- Installation of Ductile Iron pipework and ancillaries.
- To comply with the companies & clients policies & procedures to maintain our Safety, Health, Quality & Environment Standards.
- Working on Clean Potable Water & Waste Water sites.
- Working as part of a multi skilled team/s.
- Undertaking on site commissioning / testing.
- Daily reporting of complete work to the Site / Operation Manager.
- Daily organization of tasks on site in line with construction program.
- Positive attitude to completing the work efficiently & on time.
Minimum Qualifications:
- QCF Level 3 in Engineering or Construction Related Discipline, (NVQ3 higher).
- CSCS Gold Card in a construction related mechanical discipline.
- Full Driving Licence.
