Join our growing Complex Recoveries team
Due to continued growth, we're looking for an experienced Complex Recoveries Legal Advisor to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in litigated RTA recovery or ULR claims who enjoys working on high-value, complex cases and delivering excellent outcomes for clients.
You'll manage a full caseload of high-volume, high-value litigated recovery claims, typically over £10,000, using your legal expertise, negotiation skills, and commercial judgement to maximise recoveries and progress cases efficiently.
What you'll be doing
- Managing a full caseload of high-value litigated recovery files using our case management system
- Ensuring files are accurately and promptly updated throughout the claim's lifecycle
- Progressing cases efficiently through appropriate communication and litigation strategies
- Providing professional and timely legal advice to clients
- Maintaining regular communication with clients and managing expectations effectively
- Taking a practical and commercial approach to settlement negotiations and risk assessment
- Working collaboratively to support team recovery and lifecycle targets, while maintaining integrity and quality
- Liaising with sources, experts, third-party insurers, and other key stakeholders
- Working effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
You’ll ideally have:
- Experience managing a full caseload of litigated RTA recovery or ULR claims - essential
- A good working knowledge of liability issues, including the Road Traffic Act and Article 75
- Strong negotiation, communication, and influencing skills
- Experience working in a customer or stakeholder-focused environment
- A strong commitment to delivering a high-quality service to clients and colleagues
- Confidence using case management systems and Microsoft Office
- Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
- The ability to manage competing priorities and perform effectively against targets
