Personal Injury Executive
Hybrid working
Looking for your next move in Personal Injury?
I’m currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Personal Injury Executive to join an established team handling a varied caseload of claimant fast-track EL/PL personal injury claims.
This is a great opportunity for someone who already has personal injury experience and is looking for a role where they can take ownership of their own caseload, build strong client relationships and really use their negotiation and technical skills.
If you enjoy getting stuck into a case, finding solutions, and pushing claims forward rather than simply managing a process, this could be worth a conversation.
What will you be doing?
You’ll manage your own portfolio of claimant personal injury claims from instruction through to settlement, making sure every case is progressed proactively, and every client receives a high level of service.
Your caseload will include fast-track EL/PL claims, with experience across MOJ Portal, non-portal and litigated claims being important.
You'll be responsible for:
- Managing your own caseload and taking ownership of claims through to resolution.
- Providing excellent, proactive client care and keeping clients informed throughout their claim.
- Investigating claims and analysing evidence around liability, causation and quantum.
- Researching relevant legal issues and identifying opportunities to strengthen your client’s position.
- Drafting statements, pleadings, schedules of loss and other legal documentation.
- Securing early interim payments and appropriate rehabilitation where required.
- Negotiating with third parties to maximise your client’s settlement.
- Identifying opportunities for litigation where appropriate and ensuring claims continue to progress.
- Managing client expectations and dealing confidently with challenging situations.
- Working effectively within a task-based case management environment.
- Contributing to the wider success and profile of the department.
- Experience with disease and RSI claims would also be advantageous.
What are they looking for?
I’m looking for someone who genuinely enjoys Personal Injury and wants to continue developing their career in this area.
You’ll ideally have:
- Experience handling MOJ Portal, non-portal and litigated personal injury claims.
- A good understanding of liability, causation and quantum.
- Strong negotiation skills and the confidence to deal with objections.
- Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach.
- The ability to manage your own caseload and prioritise effectively.
- A proactive approach to progressing claims and achieving the best possible outcomes for clients.
- The resilience to deal with challenging situations while remaining focused on the end goal.
You don't need to tick every single box. If you have solid personal injury experience and are considering your next move, I'd be happy to have a confidential conversation and tell you more.
What's on offer?
There’s a good overall package, including:
- Salary, depending on experience.
- Annual discretionary bonus scheme.
- Hybrid working, giving you flexibility around where you work.
- 25 days’ holiday, increasing to 30 days with service.
- Up to 12 additional "Time for Me" days each year through condensed working.
- A strong focus on learning, development, and career progression.
- The opportunity to join a platinum-accredited Investors in People organisation.
