Clayton Legal are recruiting for a successful and well respected law firm based in West Yorkshire, who are looking for an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join them at our Wakefield office as they continue to grow.

The successful candidate would be responsible for:

  • Updating Estate Agents and Brokers by telephone and email
  • Dealing with incoming client calls where possible
  • Issuing Contract packs and assisting with replies to enquiries
  • Audio Dictation as required
  • Issuing mortgage reports to clients
  • Dealing with incoming post as required
  • Requesting mortgage funds, ordering final redemption statements and agents accounts as requested
  • Filing, billing, copying and sorting post as required
  • Prepare and finalising completions including draft bills and statements and associated tasks
  • Other duties as and when required

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:

  • Excellent IT skills including the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • At least 1 year experience in conveyancing
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
