Tamworth is seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer to join its growing Property team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified lawyer up to 4 years' PQE to develop their career within a supportive and forward‑thinking firm.
You will work on a broad range of high‑quality commercial property matters, advising a diverse client base that includes businesses, investors, landlords and developers.

The Role
You will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of commercial property matters, including:
- Commercial acquisitions and disposals.
- Commercial sales and purchases.
- Landlord and tenant matters, including leases, renewals and assignments.
- Commercial refinancing and secured lending transactions.
- General commercial property advisory work.
- Supporting senior colleagues on larger and more complex transactions where required.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and professional contacts.
- Identifying opportunities to cross‑sell services across the firm.
- Managing matters efficiently and in accordance with the firm's procedures and service standards.
- Ensuring files are progressed in a timely and cost‑effective manner.
- Meeting fee‑earning and billing targets.
- Maintaining the highest standards of client care and professional conduct.
About You
To be considered, you will
- Have between NQ and 4 years' PQE.
- Possess experience in commercial property matters gained during your training contract and/or post‑qualification.
- Demonstrate strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness.
- Be confident managing client relationships and delivering practical legal advice.
- Have excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
- Be highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Be capable of managing competing priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
- Have experience with agricultural property transactions.
- Have experience with development and site acquisition work.
- Have experience acting for lenders, investors or developers.
