The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Residential Conveyancer to join our friendly and collaborative Property team based in Sutton Coldfield.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated legal professional to manage a diverse residential conveyancing caseload while actively contributing to client development and supporting junior colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
As part of your role, you will manage the full spectrum of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to post-completion, including:
- Managing residential sales and purchase transactions.
- Handling remortgages and equity release cases.
- Investigating and reporting on title for both freehold and leasehold properties.
- Dealing with transfers of equity and matrimonial transfers.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory standards and CQS protocols.
- Providing guidance, support and training to Conveyancing Assistants and junior team members.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers and other professional contacts.
- Identifying opportunities to refer clients to other departments within the firm where appropriate.
- Delivering an exceptional client experience throughout the conveyancing process.
About You
The successful candidate will demonstrate
- Proven experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload independently from instruction to completion.
- Strong technical knowledge of residential property transactions, including freehold and leasehold matters.
- Experience in handling remortgages, transfers of equity and equity release transactions.
- Excellent client care and communication skills.
- Strong organisational abilities with the capacity to balance competing priorities effectively.
- Good knowledge of the local property market and the aptitude to build relationships within the community.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to team working.
- A commitment to maintaining high professional standards and regulatory compliance.
