An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Residential Conveyancer, and applications are welcomed from Solicitors, Licensed Conveyancers (CLC), Chartered Legal Executives (CILEX) and experienced non-qualified Conveyancing Executives with a proven track record of running residential property files.
The Role
Based in the firm's busy Stratford-upon-Avon office, you'll manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion, supported by an experienced Paralegal.

- Your Responsibilities
- Manage a full caseload of residential property matters, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, transfers of equity, remortgages and other associated transactions.
- Provide an excellent service to clients, estate agents, lenders and other third parties throughout the conveyancing process.
- Liaise with HM Land Registry and other relevant organisations.
- Ensure files are managed efficiently and in line with the firm's quality standards and compliance procedures.
- Work towards agreed financial and performance targets.
- Support the continued growth of the department through networking and business development.
- Keep up to date with legal developments and complete all required continuing competency and CQS training.
- Work closely with and report to the Head of Conveyancing.
- Occasionally provide support across the firm's other offices when required.
About You
You'll have
- At least 2 years' experience independently managing a residential conveyancing caseload.
- Qualification as a Solicitor, CILEX Lawyer, Licensed Conveyancer (CLC) or be an experienced non-qualified Conveyancing Executive.
- Strong knowledge of residential conveyancing procedures, CQS Protocol and Anti-Money Laundering requirements.
- Excellent communication and client care skills.
- A proactive, organised approach with strong file management abilities.
- A genuine team-focused attitude.
- Confidence in developing relationships and contributing to business development.
Desirable
- Experience working within Lexcel accredited practices.
- Previous use of Practice for Windows (P4W) or other case management systems.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
