I’m currently working with a well-established, busy law firm in Southend‑on‑Sea that is looking to bring in a Senior Conveyancing Assistant / Paralegal to support a Partner within their residential property team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands‑on, responsible role and is particularly confident working with figures and completion statements.
The role:
- Working closely with a Partner on a busy conveyancing caseload
- Preparing and reviewing completion statements (key focus)
- Supporting on sales, purchases, and remortgages
- Managing files from instruction through to completion
- Liaising with clients, agents, lenders, and third parties
- Handling financial admin, billing and payments
- Ensuring compliance with SRA, AML, and internal procedures
