Private Client Senior Associate – Pathway to PartnershipA standout opportunity has arisen for an accomplished Private Client Solicitor to join a forward-thinking and highly regarded legal team. You’ll join a team that operates with a national outlook, handling high-value and complex private client matters, while offering clear scope for progression in an environment where future leadership is actively encouraged.The RoleYou’ll manage a stimulating and varied caseload, advising individuals, families, business owners, and landowners on all aspects of succession planning, wealth structuring, and estate matters. You’ll also play a key role in supporting the wider team’s growth, mentoring colleagues, and engaging with new and long-standing clients.Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver clear, commercial legal advice across a range of private client matters
  • Manage and develop client relationships with care, professionalism, and discretion
  • Provide technical leadership and support to junior team members
  • Work closely with peers to support departmental strategy and performance
  • Proactively contribute to business development initiatives
  • Ensure work is compliant with internal processes and regulatory standards
  • Support ongoing client relationship management and cross-referrals

About YouYou are a capable and confident Private Client Solicitor who brings a mix of technical strength, commercial acumen, and a people-first approach. You may already be operating at Senior Associate level or are ready to step into that space, with long-term progression front of mind.You will ideally have:

  • A minimum of 5–6 years PQE in Private Client law
  • Strong expertise in complex wills, trusts, tax, and estate planning
  • Experience advising high-net-worth clients and working on matters with agricultural or cross-border elements
  • A natural ability to develop strong relationships—internally and externally
  • A commercial mindset and proactive approach to developing work
  • Excellent communication and drafting skills
  • A collaborative attitude and an interest in mentoring or team leadership
  • A commitment to delivering consistently high levels of service
