Are you a newly qualified Solicitor looking to kick‑start your career in Private Client law?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy Probate team where you will gain hands‑on experience, work closely with experienced colleagues and build a long‑term career in a supportive environment.

You will manage your own caseload while developing your technical expertise across a broad range of Private Client matters.

This role offers genuine responsibility from the outset, alongside ongoing training and the opportunity to work towards STEP qualification.

The Role

  • Managing your own caseload of Probate and Private Client matters.
  • Taking instructions for Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Probate, Estate Administration and Court of Protection matters.
  • Drafting Wills and LPAs.
  • Preparing and submitting Probate Registry applications.
  • Meeting clients in the office, at their homes and in care settings where required.
  • Providing a professional, compassionate service to elderly clients and bereaved families.
  • Maintaining accurate case files and case management records while ensuring deadlines are consistently met.

About You

  • Newly Qualified Solicitor with experience in Private Client gained during training.
  • Good working knowledge of Wills, LPAs and Estate Administration.
  • Keen to continue developing your technical skills, with an interest in working towards STEP qualification.
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Friendly, approachable and confident communicator with a client‑focused attitude.
  • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
