Our client is seeking a Family Solicitor to step into a key role due to the planned retirement of a long-standing team member. Reporting directly to the Director and Head of Conveyancing, you'll play an integral part in delivering high-quality legal services across a broad range of private family matters.
You will manage your own varied caseload of private family law matters, including:
- Divorce and separation
- Financial remedy proceedings
- Private children matters
- Cohabitation disputes
- Pre- and post-nuptial agreements
There will also be opportunities to be involved in advocacy, and candidates with Higher Rights of Audience or strong advocacy experience will be highly regarded.
The firm offers:
- No billable hour targets - focus on delivering excellent client care
- Hybrid working: typically 2 days in the office and 3 from home (flexible and open to discussion, including earlier access post-joining)
- Part-time or reduced hours considered
- Standard hours of 9:00am - 5:30pm
- Generous holiday allowance including bank holidays and Christmas closure
- Free parking and convenient location just off Wokingham High Street

The ideal candidate will be:
- Qualified Solicitor or CILEX with 2+ years' PQE in private family law
- Comfortable managing your own caseload independently
