I'm recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded regional firm looking to add an experienced Residential Conveyancer to their established Property team.
The role:
- Permanent, full-time
- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday to Friday, 9:00-17:30 (1-hour lunch)
- Hybrid working available once settled
- Some travel and occasional out-of-hours attendance for networking, meetings and training
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing a varied residential caseload including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity
- Handling more complex matters such as Shared Ownership, New Builds and Lease Extensions
- Progressing files proactively and liaising with all parties to keep transactions moving
- Resolving title defects and technical issues
- Advising on matters involving personal representatives, attorneys, trusts and matrimonial aspects
- Completing post-completion work independently
- Ensuring full regulatory compliance
- Supporting colleagues with technical input where needed
- Building and maintaining strong local professional networks
What we’re looking for:
- Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive
- Minimum 5 years’ PQE or equivalent relevant experience
- Ability to manage a full caseload with minimal supervision
- Strong technical conveyancing experience, including complex matters
- Commercial awareness and excellent client care skills
- Confident using case management systems and Microsoft Office
- Organised, analytical and professional under pressure
- Strong local knowledge and connections in Peterborough or Stamford
