I’m currently working with a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Oxford that is looking to strengthen its busy Property team.
They are open to speaking with Commercial Property Solicitors and Residential Property Solicitors, with the flexibility to consider candidates who want to focus purely on their chosen area of property.
There is also scope for someone who enjoys a mixed Commercial & Residential caseload, with the emphasis on Commercial Property.
The Opportunity

Commercial Property Solicitors can expect exposure to matters including:
- Acquisitions and disposals
- Refinancing
- Commercial leases, negotiations, sub-letting and surrenders
- Lease renewals
- Conditional contracts, options, promotion and development agreements
- Deeds of easement
- Landlord & tenant matters
Residential Property Solicitors will have the opportunity to focus on a residential property caseload, with the team open to candidates who want to develop their career specifically within Residential Property.
For candidates who enjoy variety, there is also the option to work across both Commercial and Residential Property.
The Role
Alongside fee earning, you will have the opportunity to:
- Develop and maintain strong client and referrer relationships
- Contribute to business development and networking
- Support Partners in growing the Property practice
- Take an active role in developing the firm's client base and profile
About You
- Qualified Solicitor or equivalent professional qualification
- Ideally 3+ PQE, although relevant experience will be considered
- Strong experience within Commercial Property, Residential Property or both
- Good billing and financial discipline
- Excellent client relationship and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Commercially minded and solutions-focused
- Able to work independently while contributing positively to the wider team
- Good understanding of risk management and compliance
