Conveyancing Assistant in North East

I am currently working with a well-established and respected law firm in the Middlesbrough / Teesside area that is looking to strengthen its residential conveyancing team with the appointment of a Conveyancing Assistant.

The Role

Working alongside experienced fee earners, you will provide support across a range of residential conveyancing matters, assisting with the progression of transactions from instruction through to completion.

• Supporting fee earners with the day-to-day management of residential property transactions
• Assisting with sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers
• Preparing and reviewing conveyancing documentation
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other third parties
• Requesting and reviewing searches and other relevant documentation
• Dealing with enquiries and assisting with the progression of transactions
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case management records
• Providing a high level of client service throughout the conveyancing process

• Previous experience within a residential conveyancing environment
• A good understanding of the conveyancing process
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good communication and client care skills
• The ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines
• A genuine interest in developing a long-term career within property law

The firm is open to candidates at different stages of their development, provided you have relevant conveyancing experience and the right attitude.
