This is a firm I've had a lot of success supporting with their growth this year, and it's genuinely exciting to see how far the practice has come. They've built significant momentum across their Crime & Regulatory offering and are continuing to grow. Established in the early 2000s, the firm has developed an excellent reputation and is recognised by Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners, as well as being listed in The Top 250 Law Firms.
The firm specialises across General & Serious Crime, Professional Regulation & Discipline and Private Client, with a particularly strong and growing reputation in the crime and regulatory space. You'll have the opportunity to work on a varied, high-quality caseload, representing clients from the initial police station stage through to Magistrates' and Crown Court proceedings. There is genuine exposure to high-profile, complex and sensitive cases, making this a particularly interesting opportunity for someone who wants to build their experience within a specialist criminal practice.
They're looking for an NQ Crime Solicitor who is confident, client-focused and keen to continue developing within a specialist criminal practice. You’ll ideally have:
- Strong experience in criminal defence
- Police Station Accreditation - Is a must!
- Experience across Magistrates' and Crown Court matters
- Excellent advocacy and client care skills
- The ability to manage your own caseload and work autonomously
- A calm and confident approach when dealing with complex and high-pressure cases
This isn't simply a case of joining a firm because they have a vacancy. There is genuine growth happening here. Having worked closely with the firm this year and supported their expansion, I've seen first-hand the momentum they have built and the opportunities that are opening up. They're ambitious, highly regarded within the market and continuing to invest in their Crime & Regulatory practice. With offices covering Croydon, Kingston, Wimbledon and Sutton police stations and courts, this could be a fantastic move for a Criminal Solicitor looking for quality work, progression and the opportunity to join a firm with real ambition.
