Personal Injury Fee Earner - EL/PL

My client is looking for a talented and motivated Personal Injury Fee Earner to join our team. You'll take ownership of a varied caseload of non-litigated Employer's Liability (EL) and Public Liability (PL) claims, delivering expert legal support and an excellent experience for every client.
The role
This is a fantastic opportunity to manage your own caseload and play a key role in progressing claims efficiently through the EL/PL Portal and pre-litigation stages.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a varied caseload of non-litigated EL and PL personal injury claims
- Assessing liability and quantum and reviewing medical evidence
- Drafting schedules of special damages
- Progressing claims through the EL/PL Portal and in line with the relevant Pre-Action Protocols
- Providing clear, professional, and empathetic advice to clients and insurers
- Building strong relationships and keeping clients regularly updated throughout their claim
- Liaising with medical experts, investigators, and rehabilitation providers
- Ensuring cases progress efficiently and meet internal service level agreements
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records using case management systems, including Solcase, and Microsoft Office
- Contributing to team performance through the achievement of financial and productivity targets
- Supporting a positive, inclusive, and collaborative working environment

Ideally, you'll have:
- Experience managing non-litigated EL/PL claims within a personal injury environment
- A strong understanding of the EL/PL Portal and pre-litigation processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- A genuine commitment to delivering outstanding client care
- Experience using case management systems and general IT tools
- The ability to manage your own workload while working collaboratively as part of a wider team
