An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Secretary or Legal Administrator to join an established and highly regarded law firm, supporting a long-standing Partner. This is a great opportunity to become a valued member of a friendly and professional team, taking on a varied role that combines legal secretarial support, administration, Legal Aid billing and compliance responsibilities.
The Role
- Predominantly supporting a Childcare Partner, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing comprehensive administrative and secretarial support
- Preparing and managing Legal Aid billing, including more complex matters
- Supporting the COLP/COFA functions
- Preparing and organising court bundles
- Managing diaries and appointments
- General administrative duties across the team
- Using systems such as LEAP and Bundledocs
- Occasional attendance at court when required
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a legal environment and be confident providing high-quality administrative and secretarial support. Experience of Legal Aid billing, bundle preparation, diary management and COLP/COFA support are essential. Knowledge of LEAP and Bundledocs is also desirable, although full training will be provided. This role would suit someone who is organised, proactive and comfortable working independently, while also being a reliable and supportive member of the wider team.
