My established client is a leading law firm based in York. They have grown considerably over the last few years and are looking for a Legal Assistant/Secretary to join their firm. Training will be given where necessary, but some prior office working exposure is essential and legal experience is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Audio and non-audio dictation
- Providing secretarial and administrative support to the commercial property fee earners
- Daily filing
- Setting up new files and organising closure of completed files
- Requesting property searches/land registry searches
- Deal with client/third party queries
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, have strong organisational skills and good IT knowledge. You will be a team player with a good sense of humour and work ethic and be able to organise and prioritise work.
Role details
The role can be full or part time. Salary will be dependent upon hours worked and experience.
