An established and highly respected North East law firm is seeking a Family Legal Secretary to join its busy and supportive team in Gateshead. For over 40 years, the firm has built an outstanding reputation for providing trusted legal advice across a wide range of practice areas. With a strong focus on client care, relationship building and delivering high-quality legal services, they continue to be a firm of choice for individuals and businesses throughout the region.

Working within the Family Department, you will provide essential secretarial and administrative support to Partner & Senior Solicitor level, helping to ensure the smooth running of client matters and delivering an excellent client experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Audio and copy typing of legal documents and correspondence
  • Managing diaries, appointments and meetings
  • Preparing court bundles and legal documentation
  • Liaising with clients, courts and third parties
  • Opening and closing files
  • General administrative support to the Family team

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Previous experience as a Family Legal Secretary
  • Excellent typing and organisational skills
