- Due to continued growth, our client is looking to recruit an additional Family Lawyer to join their busy department. You’ll handle a varied caseload of Legal Aid Family matters, with a strong focus on children work.
This is a hands-on role where you'll be trusted to manage your own files while being supported by an experienced team of fee earners, consultants and support staff.
You’ll be joining a well-structured Family department made up of fee earners, consultants and dedicated support staff, all working together to deliver high-quality Legal Aid services.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of Legal Aid Family matters
- Advising clients on a range of children matters and broader family issues
- Representing clients in court where required
- Ensuring compliance with Legal Aid requirements and standards
- Delivering a high standard of client care
What We're Looking For
- A qualified Lawyer with 5+ years' PQE (or equivalent) in Family Law
- Strong experience in Legal Aid Family work
- Children Panel Membership is highly desirable (but not essential)
- Confident managing your own caseload independently
- A committed and empathetic approach to client care
- Strong organisational and communication skills
