A well-established, client-focused law firm is seeking an experienced Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer to join their property team. You will be handling a varied caseload of residential or commercial property matters from start to finish, with the reassurance that other experienced solicitors are available for guidance whenever needed. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated legal professional who enjoys managing matters independently while delivering exceptional client care in a collaborative and approachable setting. This firm is a large, multi-site firm with progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a full caseload of residential and/or commercial property matters, including sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, new build transactions, and shared ownership matters
  • Draft, review, and advise on contracts, title documents, searches, and reports
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and lender requirements
  • Liaise effectively with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, brokers, local authorities, and other solicitors
  • Handle SDLT submissions, AP1 applications, and Land Registry requirements
  • Maintain meticulous file management in line with SRA regulations
  • Identify and mitigate transactional risks, escalating where appropriate

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer
  • Experienced enough to manage your own caseload independently
  • Strong technical knowledge of residential and/or commercial property law
  • Excellent drafting, communication, and client care skills
  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail
