My client is looking to recruit a dedicated Conveyancing Trainer to join their dynamic team in Central London. This isn’t just a training role; it’s an opportunity to directly influence the professional growth of their Property Lawyers, transforming them into highly competent legal professionals. They specialise in a number of different practice areas and have grown substantially over the years to become one of the leading providers of legal services to the property market. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and successful Conveyancing team and work alongside highly experienced Solicitors, who are experts in their field.

In this pivotal role, you’ll design and lead comprehensive training programs on cutting‑edge conveyancing systems and processes. Your expertise will be crucial in developing top‑tier legal talent within the firm.

The Role: As an ambassador for Learning & Development, you’ll play a key part in realising their L&D strategy: to be a leading legal services provider through exceptional learning solutions. You’ll support, coach, and provide solution‑driven advice to colleagues, directly contributing to tangible business benefits and results. This role would be ideal for an experienced Conveyancer with great knowledge and technical skills, along with a strong and vibrant personality who is maybe considering stepping away from case handling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver comprehensive technical training on conveyancing systems and processes with a particular focus on Shared Ownership and New Build transactions, utilising both in‑person and virtual methods.
  • Facilitate the Group‑wide new joiner welcome event and provide training for technical learning pathways and upskilling initiatives.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training accuracy and effectiveness, while also supporting the evaluation and continuous improvement of all delivered programs.
  • Develop engaging, learner‑centric materials and assist in creating training plans for colleagues.
  • Coach and mentor Property Lawyers, contributing to their professional growth, and maintain training records within the learning management system.
  • Stay current with L&D trends to ensure the delivery of cutting‑edge learning solutions.

Person Specification:

  • A strong understanding of the Conveyancing process, with previous extensive experience managing a Conveyancing caseload.
  • Strong technical skills with extensive experience of managing complex files including Shared Ownership and New Build essential.
  • Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and creative, with the ability to present and facilitate engaging sessions.
  • A confident communicator who can effectively engage colleagues at all levels.
  • Proven ability to meet commitments under challenging timescales and competing priorities.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel).
  • Flexible and willing to travel nationally to various offices as needed.
  • A demonstrable passion for developing and motivating others, coupled with a desire for continuous improvement.
