Paralegal / Conveyancing Assistant
Location: Leicester
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Working pattern: Full time office
We are looking for an experienced Paralegal or Conveyancing Assistant to join an established property team.
This is an opportunity for someone who already has a solid understanding of residential conveyancing and wants to continue developing their experience within a supportive team.
The role
- Supporting fee earners with residential conveyancing matters
- Assisting with sales, purchases, remortgages and other property transactions
- Preparing and reviewing legal documentation
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other third parties
- Carrying out property searches and dealing with enquiries
- Assisting with exchange and completion
- Maintaining accurate case management records
- Supporting the wider conveyancing team to ensure matters progress efficiently
About you
- Previous experience within residential conveyancing is essential
- Experience as a Conveyancing Assistant, Paralegal or similar role
- Good understanding of the conveyancing process
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicating with clients and third parties
- Able to manage priorities and work effectively as part of a team
- Keen to develop their knowledge and career within conveyancing
