My client, one of Yorkshire's leading law firms are currently recruiting for a Conveyancing Assistant to join their busy property team at their Leeds area offices on a full-time basis. The role is very client focused and the successful candidate will pride themselves on delivering a professional, helpful and friendly service.\\n \\n Job Description\\n \\n They are currently recruiting for an experienced conveyancing assistant (12+ months experience in sales and purchase) to join their busy property team at their West Yorkshire office.\\n \\n As a key part of the role is inputting data and preparing legal documents, the ability to work accurately and follow instructions carefully while dealing with a high volume of work is essential. We pride ourselves on our professional and friendly client care and the successful candidate will be client focused with excellent written and verbal communication skills.\\n \\n This firm offers a supportive learning environment with the opportunity to develop and progress your career.\\n \\n Key Tasks\\nOpening new files and inputting new instructions onto the Case Management system and producing relevant letters and documents\\nUpdating the Case Management system in accordance with team procedures as the matter progresses\\nIssuing contracts on sale files and assisting in dealing with replies to enquiries.\\nOrdering searches\\nDealing with exchanges and related paperwork\\nSetting up completions\\nIssuing Mortgage reports to clients\\nDealing with incoming post where appropriate\\nDealing with telephone enquiries where possible\\nFiling, billing, faxing, photocopying, sorting post and archiving\\nGeneral administration duties for the office and firmKey Skills – Essential\\nProficient IT skills\\nLiterate and numerate\\nAbility to work accurately in accordance with the requirements of the team\\nAbility to deal with enquiries in a customer-friendly and effective manner\\nAbility to work under pressure\\nAbility to prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines\\nA flexible and adaptable approach to work\\nAbility to work on own initiative & as part of a teamExperience – Essential\\nExperience in a similar fast-paced role\\n12+ months experience in conveyancingWhat’s in it for you?\\n \\n The salary for this role will be based on experience, therefore please indicate your current salary and expectations for this position.
