Job Description:
A well-established and highly regarded Law Firm in Altrincham is looking to recruit an experienced Compliance & Administration Executive to join their team.
This is a pivotal role within the firm, offering stability, responsibility, and the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success of a long-standing legal practice.
Please note: This position is only suitable for candidates with previous experience working within a law firm. Applications without this experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring ongoing compliance with SRA, AML, GDPR, and other regulatory obligations
- Conducting conflict checks, client due diligence, and file audits
- Maintaining and updating internal compliance documentation, policies, and systems
- Supporting file opening/closing and general administrative procedures
- Liaising with fee earners and management on compliance issues and queries
- Monitoring regulatory updates and assisting with implementing necessary changes
Requirements:
- Experience working within a law firm is essential
- Sound understanding of legal regulatory requirements (SRA, AML, GDPR)
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
