A well-established and growing law firm is seeking a Residential & Commercial Property Solicitor (1–3 years PQE) to join its expanding property team based in Thame, Oxfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor who wants to be part of a collaborative and ambitious firm, where they can play a meaningful role in the continued development of the business. The firm is particularly keen to attract someone who is motivated to take on responsibility and who is interested in long-term progression towards Partnership or Director level.

The Role

You will manage a varied caseload across both residential conveyancing and commercial property matters, handling transactions from initial instruction through to completion. This role offers the chance to work closely with experienced colleagues while building strong client relationships and contributing to the firm's growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing residential conveyancing matters, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Handling commercial property transactions, including leases, licences and assignments
  • Advising on lease extensions and assignments of leases
  • Assisting with commercial property acquisitions and refinancing matters
  • Drafting contracts, leases and associated legal documentation
  • Preparing reports on title for clients and lenders
  • Managing files efficiently while maintaining excellent client care and communication

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Solicitor with 1–3 years PQE in property law
  • Solid experience handling residential conveyancing matters, with some exposure to commercial property work
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied caseload
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills
  • A proactive and ambitious individual interested in growing with the firm

Working Arrangements

Office hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm. Hybrid working available (subject to experience and business needs).
