Our client is a highly regarded, friendly and professional law firm with an excellent reputation in its local market. Due to continued growth and increasing demand, they are now looking to welcome an experienced Private Wealth Lawyer to their established team in Thame.

This role would ideally suit a solicitor with 5+ years' PQE, although those with strong Private Wealth experience prior to qualification will also be considered.
You will manage a varied and high-quality caseload covering all aspects of Private Client work, including:
- Wills and estate planning
- Probate and estate administration
- Trust creation and management
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
Working closely with a Partner, you will also play a key role in the ongoing development and success of the department.
Key responsibilities include:
- Wills & Estate Planning
- Drafting simple and complex Wills, including tax-efficient structures
- Advising on inheritance tax, succession planning and asset protection
- Conducting client meetings and delivering tailored estate planning advice
- Probate & Estate Administration
- Managing matters from instruction through to estate closure
- Preparing IHT returns, probate applications and estate accounts
- Liaising with HMRC, clients, beneficiaries and third parties
- Handling a mix of straightforward and more complex estates
- Trusts
- Advising on trust creation, administration and termination
- Drafting trust documentation and supporting ongoing compliance
- Assisting trustees with legal and regulatory obligations
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Drafting and registering LPAs
- Advising clients on responsibilities, capacity and related issues
- Client Care & Compliance
- Delivering a high standard of client service with sensitivity and professionalism
- Ensuring compliance with SRA, AML and GDPR requirements
- Maintaining accurate and well-organised case files

- Strong technical knowledge across Private Client matters
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
