Overview
In House Solicitor (Corporate) – Location: Chester, UK Head Office. Company: Bluestones Investment Group. Hours: 2 or 3 days per week. Salary (FTE): £50–£60k depending on experience.
Bluestones is an investment company operating across the recruitment industry and children's residential care. The successful candidate will have a strong background in corporate law, specifically with acquisitions and shareholders agreements, based at the head office in Chester.
Responsibilities
- Work directly on corporate acquisitions and provide strategic legal advice.
- Advise on a variety of corporate matters to support ongoing growth initiatives.
- Dispute resolution, contract reviews and corporate compliance.
- Demonstrate commercial awareness and attention to detail.
- Report to the Legal & HR Director (a solicitor) and work closely with the Group CEO.
Requirements
- Qualified solicitor with at least four years' PQE in corporate law.
- Expertise in acquisitions (drafting, negotiation and due diligence work) is essential.
- Commercial approach with ability to apply technical legal points to practical situations.
- Excellent communicator.
- Ability to work in and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
