The Role
As Compliance Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the firm meets all regulatory and legal obligations. You will work closely with senior management to maintain a robust compliance framework and promote a culture of ethical practice across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the firm's compliance with SRA regulations and other relevant legislation
- Act as a key point of contact for regulatory bodies and external auditors
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures
- Conduct regular risk assessments and compliance audits
- Manage AML and KYC processes, ensuring best practice is followed
- Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance-related matters

- Previous experience in a compliance role within a law firm
- Strong knowledge of SRA regulations, AML, and GDPR
