The Role

As Compliance Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the firm meets all regulatory and legal obligations. You will work closely with senior management to maintain a robust compliance framework and promote a culture of ethical practice across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the firm's compliance with SRA regulations and other relevant legislation
  • Act as a key point of contact for regulatory bodies and external auditors
  • Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and compliance audits
  • Manage AML and KYC processes, ensuring best practice is followed
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance-related matters

About You

  • Previous experience in a compliance role within a law firm
  • Strong knowledge of SRA regulations, AML, and GDPR
  • Experience acting as COLP and/or COFA (desirable but not essential)

  • Proactive, analytical, and solutions-focused approach
