Our client is a leading financial services firm who are seeking an experienced Senior Risk Manager to join their team and strengthen their governance framework. This newly established role offers the chance to influence how the company approaches risk as it scales. You will help shape processes, improve oversight, and work closely with senior teams to make sure the organisation is well‑prepared for emerging challenges.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining a clear, structured record of risks across all operational and strategic areas.
- Collaborating with teams to identify new areas of risk and ensure protective measures are in place.
- Creating regular reports and dashboards to give committees and leadership a clear picture of our risk position.
- Supporting the wider Risk function to embed consistent frameworks across the business.
- Carrying out thematic and operational assessments of key business processes, including client journeys and transactional workflows.
- Managing incident and breach reporting, including analysis and action‑tracking.
- Supporting resilience initiatives such as mapping critical services and updating business continuity plans.
- Identifying risks affecting customer outcomes and helping ensure they are monitored and acted upon.
- Guiding and educating colleagues on how to recognise and report potential risks.
- Providing risk-focused input for acquisition reviews and integration plans.
