About this Role
We seek a talented and creative Interior Designer to work in our show home department creating outstanding schemes for national housing developers. If you have a passion for design and can bring spaces to life, we would love to hear from you.
This role is initially a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Job Summary
- Liaising with Sales team and Design Manager to receive and accurately interpret client project briefs
- Using established processes for calculating budget allocation and project planning
- Designing schemes within an efficient timeframe and attention to detail
- Calculating costings such that full gross profit margins are maintained and accounting is accurate
- Excellent communication skills with clients, suppliers, colleagues and others
- Friendly, approachable and a team player
Role Responsibilities
- Produce design concepts, proposals, digital and physical mood boards, with fully costed estimates
- Source materials, finishes, and furnishings that support the design
- Project manage all aspects of the project from design process to installation
- Maintain and develop relationships with clients to achieve a high retention rate and repeat business
Requirements
- Bachelor\’s Degree in Interior Design or related field
- Proven experience as a show home designer or similar role
- Minimum one year of interior design experience
- Good proficiency with Excel and Photoshop
- Great organisational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good presentation skills
- Outstanding attention to detail
- UK Driving License
