SUMMARY OF POSITION
Clays floor teams are collaborative and highly cross‑trained. Shoot Captains bring the Clays experience to life, lead the gaming sections, and manage the guest journey from arrival to departure. Previous hosting or serving experience is a plus.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate the booking system with high competence.
- Occasionally run reception and bookings during service.
- Support the events team with group reservations and corporate events.
- Handle face‑to‑face, telephone, and e‑mail enquiries politely and professionally.
- Deliver the full 12‑step game and Food & Beverage service while running a section of gaming pegs.
- Serve food and beverage in a professional manner, ensuring high customer service standards.
- Flex skills across multiple front‑of‑house roles.
SKILLS, DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES
- Host or hospitality reception/bookings management experience preferred.
- Previous food and beverage service experience in restaurant or bar settings.
- Passionate about hospitality and creating amazing experiences.
- Strong eye for detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build lasting relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Honest and with strong moral principles.
- Take initiative, solve problems calmly, work well under pressure.
- Enjoy interacting with people.
- Love and engage with incredible food and beverage.

- Competitive base salary of £12.50 per hour plus weekly Tronc service charge distribution.
