Summary Of Position & Key Attributes
Our Bar Team is essential to the experience we provide. You will produce and serve drinks at high volume in a fast-paced, exciting environment. The role requires creative mixology, exceptional service standards, and collaboration with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare drinks and memorise drink and food specifications.
- Engage with products and offer recommendations.
- Execute private and corporate events.
- Deliver uniform drinks according to Clays guidelines.
- Communicate about business and technology to guests.
- Maintain Health & Safety expectations.
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with floor, host, and kitchen staff in a calm and professional manner.
- Complete the Clayers Academy curriculum.
- Be a brand champion maintaining expectations and delivery at all times.
Skills And Desired Qualifications
- 2–3 years experience in a cocktail bar.
- Excellent knowledge of classic cocktails.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Experience in high‑volume bars (preferred).
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- Continuous learning mindset and passion for hospitality.
- Attention to detail and strong moral principles.
- Initiative and calm problem‑solving under pressure.

The base hourly rate is £13.23 with a weekly Tronc service charge distribution.
