We are looking for an efficient Temporary Engineering Store Assistant to be responsible for all tasks involved in our engineering stores team. The role has a range of duties including being a point of contact for deliveries from suppliers and factory staff, putting stock away and making sure it is labelled accurately, completing stock checks, aiding factory colleagues by taking orders and retrieving parts to ensure that the business can meet its operational requirements.
To be successful as an Engineering Store Assistant you should be able to carry out all tasks with high attention to detail within a fast-paced environment.
About you:
- This is an opportunity to be an active team player who is happy to support and be supported in our Engineering Stores department.
- You will have strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good computer and communication skills.
- Previous knowledge in engineering or mechanical areas would be advantageous.
- Previous experience in a stores department will support you in working in our fast-paced environment but is not essential.
- No previous factory experience is required – just a strong work ethic.
