We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Assistant Account Manager to support our Account Management team at TJ Books. This role is key to ensuring world class service is delivered to our customers. You will support Account Managers in managing customer relationships, processing orders accurately and on-time, and coordinating with internal departments to ensure smooth production and delivery. This is a perfect opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a fast-paced book printing and production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Account Managers in delivering excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, generating work instructions in a timely manner.
- Check customer files and print orders against estimates and specifications.
- Liaise with Estimating, Purchasing, Scheduling and Production teams to resolve queries and support smooth, high-quality production.
- Support Account Managers in achieving KPIs through effective critical date and schedule management.
- With guidance from Account Managers, chase components both internally and externally to ensure delivery deadlines are met.
- Provide administrative day-to-day support across the customer service team.
- Provide holiday cover across the department as required.
