We are looking for an efficient Data Prep Operator to be responsible for the checking and preparation of files for print using our in-house prepress software. The Data Prep Operator has a range of duties that include checking data meets our prepress guidelines, ensuring data is available to the factory to meet press timings and preparing files for press, including making amendments to data.
To be successful as a Data Prep Operator you should be able to carry out all tasks with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with a high level of accuracy. Ultimately, a Data Prep Operator should be able to concentrate for long periods of time and work accurately to tight deadlines.
About You:
- This is an opportunity to work individually and as part of a busy team while liaising with colleagues at all levels effectively.
- GCSE Maths and English (Grades A* – C) as a minimum.
- You will have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to learn quickly and work well with IT systems.
- Having working knowledge of Outlook, Teams, Excel, Adobe Creative Suite, Acrobat and PrePress systems is beneficial for you in this role.
- Previous experience working in the print industry, and/or an administrative role will support you in working in our fast-paced environment but is not required.
