The predicted salary is between 21600 - 36000 £ per year.
We are looking for an efficient Bindery Production Planner to be responsible for all tasks involved in scheduling the workflow through the factory and ensuring that the production plan meets our customers’ requirements whilst planning for maximum productivity. The Bindery Production Planner has a range of duties that include working closely with the Capacity Planners (who load the relevant work to the correct machines and set the masterplan for the forthcoming weeks), tracking the machines and setting the production plan for the next 24 hours.
To be successful as a Bindery Production Planner, you should be able to carry out all tasks with high attention to detail to organise and prioritise workloads. Ultimately, a Bindery Production Planner should be highly organized, use their own initiative to make decisions, work well under pressure and react quickly to ever changing plans.
About You:
- This is an opportunity to be an active team player who is happy to support and be supported in our Production Control department.
- You will have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Liaise effectively at all levels within the factory.
- Confidence in using IT systems is essential and knowledge of “Accuterm” would be advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential so that you can liaise effectively within your team, with factory managers and machine operators to build good working relationships.
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment would be preferable but is not essential – just a strong work ethic.
