An opportunity has arisen at Claygate Primary School for a reliable and flexible Assistant Caretaker to join our team, who is keen to make a difference and assist with maintaining the premises and grounds to a high standard.
As a key part of our site team, you’ll work 5pm - 6.30pm Monday to Friday (7.5hrs per week) and have responsibility for locking up and site security in the evenings, general site maintenance, using a varied skillset to carry out tasks such as cleaning, refilling consumables, and manual handling, as well as ensuring the site is in a good condition for all to work and learn effectively.
Job requirements
- A good standard of written and spoken English
- Basic IT skills
- Good standard of maintenance and DIY experience with an understanding of health and safety parameters
- Ability to prioritise and plan own workload
