Overview

The Inspired Learning Group is seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational Head for Clayesmore School. This appointment is for an existing Head with the skills and experience to guide the School through the coming years. The School has an excellent reputation following its acquisition by ILG and is entering an exciting period. The Head must be willing to work closely in partnership with ILG, but also have the strength and independence to make their own decisions for the benefit of the School and its community. Start date: September 2026.

Responsibilities

The Head will lead Clayesmore School in partnership with Inspired Learning Group, maintaining and enhancing the School’s reputation, and guiding strategic direction for the benefit of the School and its community.

Qualifications and experience

  • Experience as a Head or senior leader in an educational setting (appointment intended for an existing Head)
  • Committed to safeguarding and the welfare of children and young people
  • All necessary checks including enhanced DBS clearance and identity/qualification checks
