Clay Hill School are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join their Education team now on a bank basis! We are looking for a versatile, resilient and committed Teaching Assistant, who can adapt their practice wherever necessary. Clay Hill School is an independent specialist day school for young people with autistic spectrum conditions (ASC) and associated complex needs. We provide education for young people aged 5 to 19 years.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personalised educational assistance to a specific pupil in need of additional support.
  • Build a strong rapport with the pupil, understand their individual needs, and implement strategies to enhance their learning experience.
  • Work collaboratively with the school staff, parents, and other professionals to create a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes the pupil's overall development and success.

Qualifications

  • The successful candidate will have previous experience supporting in a classroom setting.
