We are seeking a QHSE Manager on a full time, permanent basis. Based at our facility in Westhill, Aberdeen, the QHSE Manager will be responsible for the implementation of the Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental strategy upholding supporting standards for the business. The role is responsible for managing the QHSE objectives for the business across the facilities and activities within the area of control through Claxton's QHSE Integrated Management System (IMS).
Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and implementation of robust QHSE plans and interface documents.
- Maintain a record of assessment of risks to health and safety, and implementation of measures and arrangements identified as necessary from the assessments, for Aberdeen and Stavanger facility and personnel.
- Manage QA data pack and MBR preparation processes and personnel, including quality plans and ITPs.
- Ensure that workplace tools, equipment, processes, and procedures meet industry standards as defined by the relevant Health and Safety Laws and Regulations.
- Oversee the capture and timely effective closure of QHSE observations, investigations and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) ensuring thorough capture and management of cost of poor quality.
- Responsible for local emergency response and major incident planning.
- QHSE focal point for internal and external audits and custodian of the local QHSE audit program.
- Lead the development and roll out of sustainability and improvement initiatives, in collaboration with other managers and staff members.
- Chair site QHSE meetings and ensure actions are reviewed and communicated effectively.
- Collaborate with other Claxton QHSE functional personnel to promote best practice.
- Identify and monitor regular goals and objectives, including end of year reviews for direct reports.
- Day to day management and development of the QHSE team.
Qualifications
- Degree educated or equivalent.
- NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent.
- ISO 9001, ISO 45001 & 14001 Auditor qualifications.
- Oil and gas industry standards & regulations and safety related requirements.
- UK HSE legislation.
- ISO compliant integrated management systems.
- Equipment certification, material classes, and Quality Assurance documentation delivery.
