Clavell & Hind is an award winning, family run business, with a real passion for quality beer, customer satisfaction, and a happy workforce. We produce a range of craft cask, keg, bottle and canned beers.
We are looking for a hands-on, creative, and technical brewer to work alongside our head brewer in the whole brewing process. You will be instrumental in producing our core range while driving new, experimental recipes.

The role will consist of:
- Contributing to the entire production process (including, but not limited to: Grist loading, wort production, QA/QC checks, ingredient ordering, fermentation control, filtration, CIP duties and packaging) to a high standard.
- Ensuring all equipment is maintained and operating efficiently, always adhering to strict Health & Safety standards, including cask and keg cleaning.
- Good record keeping and regular quality checks along with compliance with HACCP and H&S requirements.
- Working flexibly within the production team, including unsupervised tasks.
- Supporting brand presence, including featuring in social media where appropriate.
- Occasional delivery support (clean UK driving licence required).
- Hosting brewery tours and sharing your passion and knowledge.
You will need:
- At least 2+ years of experience in a commercial production brewery and ability to work independently.
- Must be physically fit (able to lift a minimum 25kgs).
- Good knowledge of brewing science, fermentation, and packaging.
- You must be passionate about craft beer, have a proactive attitude, and a good work ethic.
- A clean driving licence and your own vehicle.
- It would be a bonus if you have IBD general certificate or higher or equivalent.
