We are seeking an exceptional Sous Chef to join a dynamic, quality-driven French restaurant in the heart of Central London, working alongside acclaimed chef Claude Bosi. The Role

  • Support the Head Chef in leading a large, high-performing brigade within a fast-paced environment.
  • Play a key role in maintaining exceptional culinary standards, driving consistency, mentoring junior chefs, and ensuring smooth day-to-day kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the leadership and development of a large kitchen team.
  • Maintain exceptional food quality, presentation, and consistency.
  • Lead service with confidence in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate junior members of the brigade.
  • Ensure excellent kitchen organisation, cleanliness, and compliance.
  • Assist with stock control, ordering, GP targets, and labour management.
  • Work closely with senior management to deliver an outstanding guest experience.
  • Uphold the standards and ethos of a modern French kitchen.

About You

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef within premium restaurants.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Passion for French cuisine and high-quality ingredients.
  • Calm and organised under pressure.
  • Quality-focused with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of kitchen operations, HACCP, and health & safety.
