Classroom Teachers Ltd are always recruiting skilled and experienced School Caretaker to work at an educational unit based in London. The role would be Monday to Friday 7:30am -3:30pm Your day will consist of the following duties: * Opening the building in the morning * General school maintenance for the building and grounds. * Repairing faults across the school and playgrounds. * Conducting fire safety , security and H&S checks for the site. * Event set up and take down. * Support and assist colleagues to conduct specific/ad hoc caretaking tasks when required * Ensuring the school and grounds are clean and tidy * Dealing with both external and internal contractors * Grounds work This role is an ongoing position, but may turn permanent for the right candidate. Please note: Classroom Teachers Ltd undertake checks on all of our candidates in line with safeguarding legislation. As such, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not hold a subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process.
