SEN Home Tutor for students based in Lambeth
Classroom Teachers Ltd are looking to recruit qualified teachers to tutor SEN/EBD students that are based in the South East London area of Lambeth.
Job Description
- SEN 1:1 Tutor β Library or home based (South London)
- Up to 37.61ph
- Long-term contract, temporary position
- Teaching Secondary students with SEN or students currently not attending school, on a 1:1 basis at home or in a library
- Providing a stimulating & enjoyable learning environment
- Providing 1:1 sessions teaching English, Maths and Science if applicable.
- Half termly reports on progress
Person Specification
- Qualified Teacher
- Previous SEN experience or advanced understanding of SEN, especially ASD
- You must be passionate, enthusiastic and caring towards children
- Able to engage students in their own homes or libraries
- Able to communicate with parents/guardians
- Able to inspire young adults
- DBS on the update service or willing to get a new one
