SEN Online Tutor for students based in South West and South London. Classroom Teachers Ltd are looking to recruit experienced tutors with SEN experience to work with students that are based in South or South West London.
1:1 Online Tutor positions run during term time only. We have continuous referrals all year round which we aim to fill as quickly as possible. The hours of work are generally set each week (tutor and parent are able to liaise to find the best fit) and depending on the student, the timings can be between 2-3 hours each day. You are also able to take on two students per day (15 hours per week each), making the hours full time. Students are currently out of school due to various SEN/Medical needs.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- SEN 1:1 Online Tutor
- Up to £41.26ph
- Long-term contract, temporary position
- Teaching Primary or Secondary students with Special Educational Needs or students currently not attending school for medical or behavioural reasons, on a 1:1 basis online.
- Providing a stimulating & enjoyable learning environment
- Providing 1:1 sessions in core subjects depending on student and age
- Half termly reports on progress
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
- Hold a teaching qualification or have extensive tutoring experience
- Previous SEN experience or advanced understanding of SEN, especially ASD/EBD/AUT
- You must be passionate, enthusiastic and caring towards children
- Able to engage students online by creating engaging lessons
- IT literate to be able to create content online and hold online lessons
- Able to communicate with parents/guardians
- Able to inspire young adults
- DBS on the update service or willing to get a new one
