Classroom Talent is working in partnership with a highly regarded secondary school in Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire that is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and ambitious PE Teacher from January 2027.
This is a permanent position, employed directly by the school, offering excellent long-term stability and progression.
For the right candidate, the school is also offering an £8,000 TLR with the opportunity to take on Head of Department responsibility, making this an excellent opportunity for an experienced PE Teacher looking to move into departmental leadership or an existing middle leader looking for their next challenge.

Person Specification
The successful PE Teacher will:
- Hold UK QTS or QTLS
- Be confident teaching PE across KS3,KS4 and KS5
- Have strong classroom and behaviour management
- Have a genuine passion for PE, sport and student participation
- Be willing to contribute to extracurricular clubs, fixtures and wider school sport
- Work effectively as part of a collaborative department
- Be ambitious and committed to professional development
- Be receptive to feedback and keen to develop
- Be willing to contribute to the wider life of the school
- Be comfortable supporting the school's values and ethos
