Location: Arlesey, Bedfordshire
Salary: Β£29,000 β Β£31,500 actual salary
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: Term-time only + 3 weeks during GCSE/A-Level results periods + 5 training days
Start Date: ASAP / Negotiable
Classroom Talent is recruiting on behalf of our client, a successful and welcoming school in Arlesey, Bedfordshire, who are looking to appoint an experienced and highly organised Data Manager (Employed directly by the School)
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong school data, MIS and analytical experience to take responsibility for the effective management of the school's data systems.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Principal, Senior Leadership Team and wider school staff, ensuring accurate and timely information is available to support teaching, assessment, attendance, admissions and whole-school improvement.

THE ROLE
As Data Manager, you will take responsibility for the strategic management, accuracy, analysis and reporting of school data.
- Managing and maintaining the school's Management Information System
- Producing reports and analysing student, academic, attendance and assessment data.
- Managing student and staff records.
- Setting up and maintaining assessment marksheets and reporting systems.
- Supporting whole-school data drops and producing analysis for senior and middle leaders.
- Completing the School Census and other statutory data returns.
- Maintaining attendance recording, monitoring and reporting systems.
- Managing and supporting the school's admissions processes.
- Maintaining and updating the whole-school timetable
- Supporting GCSE and A-Level examination and results processes.
- Maintaining and updating school data reports.
- Developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards covering academic, behaviour and attendance data.
- Working closely with senior leaders, SEND, Pupil Premium, safeguarding and pastoral teams.
- Ensuring all school data is handled accurately, securely and in accordance with data protection requirements.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for someone who is highly organised, confident working with data and able to manage multiple priorities within a busy school environment.
- GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above, or equivalent.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Experience of data input, manipulation and reporting.
- Knowledge and understanding of the data requirements within schools.
- Experience using Bromcom or Similar Mis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with SISRA, Power BI, Google Suite, school examination systems and educational platforms would be advantageous.
