We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN (Special Educational Needs) Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive and nurturing educational environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting students with SEN/SEMH and will be committed to creating an inclusive and empowering learning experience for all. Responsibillites: – Provide one-on-one support to students with SEN/SEMH, ensuring their individual needs are met in the classroom setting – Collaborate with teachers to implement personalized learning plans and behavior management strategies for students with SEN – Create a safe and supportive environment for students, promoting social and emotional well-being – Communicate effectively with parents and other professionals involved in the students' care to ensure a holistic approach to their education and well-being Qualifications: – Previous experience working with individuals with ASD and/or ADHD is essential – Strong understanding of SEN support strategies and a commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents – Relevant certifications or training in the field of Special Educational Needs is desirable Day-to-day: – Provide individualized support to students during lessons, ensuring they are able to engage and participate fully – Collaborate with teachers to facilitate the inclusion of students in all aspects of school life – Monitor and record student progress, and contribute to the review and development of their individual support plans – Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, promoting respect and understanding among all students
