Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) – ASD/SLD, Non-Verbal Learners Salary: Up to £50,000 (Pro Rata) or £257 Per Day Contract: Part-Time (Minimum 3 Days/Week), transition to Full-Time from September We are a dedicated specialist school seeking an experienced and passionate Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) to join our multidisciplinary team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on the communication development of learners with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and primarily non-verbal profiles. About the Role: * Work closely with teaching staff and therapists to support and implement personalised communication strategies * Deliver direct therapy and develop tailored intervention plans * Provide staff training and contribute to EHCP reviews and planning * Flexible start: minimum 3 days per week, with move to full-time from September What We’re Looking For: * Qualified Speech and Language Therapist, HCPC registered * Significant experience working with children and young people with ASD, SLD, and non-verbal communication needs * Background in a specialist SEN setting is essential * Strong understanding of AAC, PECS, and other alternative communication systems * A team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills What We Offer: * Competitive salary: up to £50,000 (pro rata depending on days worked) or £267 Per Day * Supportive and inclusive school environment * Opportunities for ongoing professional development * A chance to work in a setting where your expertise makes a daily difference
